Japanese stamp (Hanko)

In Japan, having your own stamp is necessary. It's considered your signature and Japanese people buy order made stamp so that it's their original and unique stamp.

Since most of Japanese people's first name and last name are made from Kanji that the number of characters are less than the alphabet. So, some people like to put their full name on their stamp.

As for the alphabet name, we recommend you use your first name or nick name so that it fits on the stamp. If you would like to use Kanji, Hiragana or Katakana for your name but don't know how to write it, please let us know ! We are happy to assist you !
